The elevator opened onto a bullpen and Abby walked backwards out the doors. "Welcome to NCIS headquarters at the Washington Navy Yard. This is the bullpen. Here the agents of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service solve crimes, catch criminals and look good doing it. Since we're all about the acronyms here, we call our teams MCRT, or major case response team. I used to work with one in particular."

Leading them around the corner, Abby blinked at the row of empty desks. "...and they would not be here. Which makes my reveal about a negative 2 on the drama scale. Um...wanna go see my lab?"

"Die you Northern Alliance Troll!" Abby yelled at the computer monitor. "Die!"

Shooting off an email to Phale and Wilson, Abby headed for the door. Her haphazard packing hadn't been so great, but she still had enough stuff at NCIS to keep her in clean clothes for a few days. By then, she decided firmly, Tony would be home safe and sound and he'd just have to loan her his pajamas.

Abby was eating chocolate and looking at the black roses that Phale and Wilson had sent her.

And the black roses she had gotten from the folks at NCIS.

Oh, and the two bouquets of black roses that had come from ex-boyfriends.

Abby grinned at her office, it was nice to have people that knew what she liked.

Abby's going to need some people in class this week to play cops and firemen. Live ones! I could just play them from Abby's account but I thought I would offer the chance for other characters to play them. The bonus is that my cops would just be NPC, your cops and firemen will be your student(or faculty character) getting to play dress up!

What: The students are going to learn how to interact with other people at a crime scene and you'll be those people! I'll give you an outline of what I want you to do and then let you go play! Make stuff up! Get messy! /Miss Frizzle

When: You'll need to be available to ping into Wednesday's class and interact with the students. The post will go up sometime Tuesday night and just be aware that there's a lot of students in the class. I'm hoping for at least two cops and two fireman so one person won't have to handle all the pings alone.

Who: I'll take student or faculty volunteers. Couple of quick notes, characters who are in Abby's class can't volunteer. Characters who have something else going on Wednesday during 5th period can't volunteer since it's hard to be in two places at once.

Abby was in her office, focused on the computer. She was either working or picking out a new tattoo.

Every week the class is going to be learning forensic science by reenacting crimes from shows like NCIS, CSI, Bones, Law and Order, etc. Which means Abby will need to be killing people. I thought about getting a TA but that would be a lot of work for one person to do every week so I'm going to open it up to volunteers. I'll give you a list of information (and Abby will handwave giving it to your character) that you can pass onto the students. List of injuries, body temperature, etc.

IC responsibilities will include pretending to be dead and answering questions that the students ask you.
OOC responsibilities will include being around Wednesdays for answering pings.

Don't know Abby and still want to volunteer? Don't worry! I'm totally fine having Abby randomly assault people in the hallway and roping them into this assignment. We can either play that out the day before/the day of your day in class or handwave that it happened.

Abby's apartment is very dark and the sounds pouring from the room are a mixture of goth rock and eerie Halloween sounds. The overhead lights are off and orange lights illuminate a menacing skeleton tableau. Just beyond that is a sign:
